We installed a new heavy-duty door closer using a reinforced mounting plate to repair the torn-out section and give it solid support. To prevent the same issue from happening again, we also added a door chain limiter.
This keeps the door from swinging open too far during strong winds or heavy use.
As shown in the photos, everything was installed clean and securely. The new setup ensures smooth door operation and extra protection for both the door and the frame.
