In today’s world we all want painless and easy no matter what it is.When it comes to locks we have solutions both for comfort and security. 

This home in Bay Village had a Schlege dead bolt and knob that use regular keys.

The customer complained that she was getting locked out too many times since the Schlege knob is always open from the inside even when the knob is in the locked position and she would walk out and shut the door without carrying a key and then realized she can’t get in.

Also she wanted to use the dead bolt but didn’t always remember to lock it. We installed an LSDA electronic dead bolt with a mul-t-lock cylinder to prevent picking or bumping.

To lock this lock you simply close the door and touch the screen. That activates the bolt automatically.  To unlock it you touch the screen, enter your code and the lock opens automatically.

The bottom handle was replaced with a passage lever not requiring a key to unlock it. Easy and simple.
