One of the many issues facing local businesses in high crime areas are break ins.
This business was easily broken into when the burglars ripped out the mortise lock on the front door and flipped the bolt with a screwdriver.
It wasn’t too hard since they were able to use a pair of pliers and grab the face of the lock since it was sticking out.
Our solution was to repair the deadbolt mechanism and install a latch guard to prevent tampering and also we used a spacer which Protects the cylinder and guards it from being able to be grabbed with a pair of vice grips.
We also installed new IC cores to give them easy access to install new cores.
