We specialize in residential locks. These doors are from 1904, they use old mortise hardware and skeleton keys.

We had to repair the mortise mechanism and install a new mortise cylinder to get the door working properly.

The best way to keep your old hardware working smooth is to lubricate your locks with WD40 and make sure the frame and latch are aligned properly with the door lock so you don’t have to force the bolt to close.

Also have a locksmith check the lock for any other adjustments needed to make it last.

These guys are great! My key FOB came unconnected from my car and the emergency key didn’t work. They came to my house and got me on the road again. They were unable to cut the key right then, but called me first thing in the morning and came right back. I absolutely recommend!

I cannot thank Advanced Lock and Key enough. I called Advanced Lock and Key after 7pm and they showed up in under 30 minutes and gave me a great price to rekey two of my locks. The gentleman that came out ( Oleg ), came out within the time frame he estimated, took the time to speak with me and inquire what was going on, and what was needed. He immediately addressed the issue, cut my keys, walked my thru the process of finding the hidden door lock, removing the cover plate, and making sure the keys worked properly.
